Douglas J. Grant - President/Owner
Douglas has been the president of Landis Title Corporation since its inception in 1987. After serving 5 years in the United States Army and Defense Intelligence Agency, Douglas joined his father in a local title agency in 1980, which at the time was the exclusive contractor in southern NJ for all closings in which the US Department of housing and Urban Development was represented as the seller. In his two years working with his father, Douglas handled and closed more than 2500 transactions. In 1984, he was hired to open the first NJ branch of TA Title Insurance company of Newton Square, PA. Within 3 years, the company had opened 3 more branches in NJ. In 1987, he was hired by Meridian Title Insurance Company to be the State Manager of Delaware, overseeing the title insurance production of over 120 attorney agents in that state. It was during this time that he formed Landis Title Corporation with his wife Suzanne, who managed the office in Vineland until 1993. Hired by Lawyers Title Insurance Corporation in Philadelphia, he was asked to be the regional systems administrator before leaving to help form Surety Title Corporation of Marlton in 1993. Doulgas left Surety Title in 1993 to focus on the growth and stability of Landis Title Corporation. Douglas in a member of the NJ Land Title Association, the American Land Title Association and both the NJ and National Association of Independent Land Title agents. He has held a NJ Title Producer's License since 1982.
A native of Vineland, Douglas enjoys spending time with his three children and grandson. He is an avid tennis player, craftsman, golfer, Philadelphia sports fan and history enthusiast.
Suzanne Grant - President/Owner
Suzanne joined her husband Douglas in 1983 in the title insurance industry. Holding a NJ Title Producer's License since 1988, Suzanne has performed every aspect of work that can be done in the industry, indulging (but not limited to) order entry, commitment preparation, examination of titles, closings, policy preparation and escrow accounting. Suzanne is the architect for virtually all the methods and procedures relating to production of work that are currently in place. She currently oversees production of title reports and has maintained a polished record of prompt delivery of products to the company's clientele.
A native of Vineland, Suzanne enjoys playing tennis, golf, the theater, baking and home improvement projects. She and her husband Douglas love spending time with their three children Brian, John, and Jennifer and their one grandson Greyson.
Duncan J. (Tim) Grant - Comptroller/Bookkeeper
Tim joined Landis Title in 1996 working in all phases of production before assuming the role of comptroller and bookkeeper. Time attended the United States Military Academy before transferring to the University of California-Berkley and graduating with both a B.S. in Applied Mathematics and a M.S. in operations Research. With responsibilities that include balancing all company accounts including the company's trust account, who transaction volumes can exceed $180 million annually, Tim's attention to detail and undeniably dependable work ethic have been major components in the overall success of the business.
Originally from Vineland, Tim now resides in Milmay where he spends his free time working on his classic cars and spending time with family that all still reside in the area.
Lori Amos - Vice President/Office Manager
Lori brings a wealth of industry knowledge to Landis Title both from an industry and a legal perspective. A graduate of court stenographer school, Lori spent the first 18 years of her career working in a law office before joining Landis Title where she has handled several thousand closings, including those involving high liability and government agencies. Lori has held a NJ Title Producer's License since 1999.
A resident of Hammonton, Lori enjoys being active by means of cross-fit and spending time with her husband Rick and four grandsons.
Kelley Maische - Office Manager/Closer
Kelley has been a full-time employee with Landis Title since 2007. Kelley began her journey in the industry in 1989 working in the payroll and accounting sector of the construction industry. In 2000 Kelley became a licensed realtor for Truxton Realty and then began processing files for Landis Title in 2007. Kelley has been a licensed title produce in NJ since 2009, realtor associate since 2000 and is a Notary Pulic in NJ.
Originally from Maurice River Two., Kelley currently resides in Leesburg, NJ with her husband Chicker and daughter Emily.
Renee Gould - Title Processor/Closer
Renee has been with Landis Title since 2001. Her 16 years in the industry and knowledge of multiple facets of the Title industry make her a reliable resource and an immensely valuable member of the Landis Title family. Renee is a Notary Public in NJ and has been a Licensed Title Producer in NJ since 2005.
Originally from Vineland, Renee enjoys spending her time with her husband Bill and their son Ben.
Wendy Sylvester - Title Processor
Wendy has been with Landis Title since June of 2016. She began her journey to the company in the mortgage business where she worked in the closing department for a larger lender, then moved to a smaller company to work as a loan processor until she wrapped up her time in the mortgage industry as a loan officer's assistant. In 2012 Wendy began working with her first Title Company on a friend's recommendation and has flourished since. Wendy holds an Associate's Degree in Accounting, is a Notary Public in NJ and a Licensed Title Producer in the state of NJ.
Raised in Cherry Hill and currently residing in Clayton, Wendy enjoys spending her free time with her husband Bob, to whom she has been married since 1993, and her six teenagers ranging from middle school to college aged. Wendy enjoys summer concerts, beach walks, rollercoasters, volunteering with her church and spending time with her schnauzer-mix.
Joy Ruga - Policy Processor
Joy began her time in the industry by working for Household Finance in high school. She was hired by Landis Title in 1998 and has been a valuable part of the family ever since. Joy's 19 years of experience are represented in her knowledge and understanding of multiple facets of the Title business. Joy manages all production of title policies for the company and remittances for the company's underwriters. Joy has played an instrumental role in developing many of the office procedures that are still in practice with the company today.
Originally from Dorothy, NJ; Joy enjoys spending as much time as she can with her husband Joel and their four children Brennan, Alana, Owen, and Warren.
